Jennie Tan

Jie (Jennie) Tan immigrated from China to the U.S. in 2008, and she is trilingual and fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese Chinese. She has earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Kent State University and her master’s degree in nutrition from Case Western Reserve University, Ohio. She also completed her dietetic internship program at Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ohio. Jennie is a Registered Dietitian, licensed by Maryland Board of Dietetic Practice, with a diverse background in clinical nutrition, food service systems management, community nutrition, and research processes and applications. She has gained her experience in food safety during her school years and her previous job as a dietary aide in the retirement community center.
